The Need to Help Homeless Youth

Every night, thousands of young people face the harsh reality of homelessness. Without safe shelter, nutritious meals, or supportive guidance, they are at higher risk for hunger, illness, exploitation, and lost opportunities. These youth often lack access to education, mentorship, and life skills that can help them break the cycle of poverty. By providing safe housing, meals, and programs that empower and educate, we can give them the stability, hope, and tools they need to build a brighter future. Every action, every donation, every volunteer hour counts toward saving a life and transforming a community.

Planned Use of $2 Million Funding:

1. Property Acquisition – $900,000 (45%)
   
   Purchase of a suitable vacant property to serve as the foundation for the group home, including closing costs and legal fees.
2. Renovation and Facility Upgrades – $500,000 (25%)
   
   Structural improvements, safety upgrades, accessibility modifications, and interior renovations to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for youth.
3. Furniture, Equipment & Supplies – $250,000 (12.5%)
   
   Beds, desks, kitchen appliances, computers, educational materials, and other essential household items.
4. Staff Salaries & Training – $200,000 (10%)
   
   Hiring and training qualified staff, including case managers, cooks, counselors, and security personnel for the first year of operation.
5. Food & Daily Operations – $100,000 (5%)
   
   Provision of meals, utilities, cleaning, transportation, and other day-to-day operational expenses.
6. Program Development & Activities – $50,000 (2.5%)
   
   Life skills workshops, educational programs, mental health counseling, recreational activities, and mentorship initiatives for the youth.
